The picture:The land is covered with snow and ice. Trees are weighed down by a heavy load of snow. A skinny deer tries to find some moss under the snow. On a hill at some distance there are some skinny hungry wolves. |
Explanation:In the winter food is scarce. The wolves and the deer have a shortage of food. The weak deer end up as food for the wolves. The weak wolves starve to death. In this way the ice purifies nature and creates room for new life. Thus nature selects the creatures that procreate and evolve and creatures that become extinct. In social perspective the same thing happens. People with self-control and common sense moderate themselves. In summer and autumn they do not eat everything, they store food for winter and early spring. In winter and early spring they eat only what they need and save for later. The uncontrolled and stupid people live by the day. During summer they party and eat everything. They are so busy with eating and partying, that they don't have time to store food for winter. In early winter they eat as much as they like, until everything is gone. Then they starve. Or they have to beg for food from people with self-control and common sense. When the ice is melted, these beggars have to work as slaves for the sensible people. The stupid and uncontrolled people become slaves or starve. The sensible and controlled people evolve to leaders. |
